Our innovative HEAT technology uses thin heating membranes that warm you safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal comfort and performance. It is powered by a power bank* kept in the pocket, so a simple push of a button on the HEAT products allows you customize your experience and switch between the three pre-set temperatures.

Because the HEAT technology uses an ultrathin heat conducting membrane, the products can be easily folded up and packed away without any damage. The ultra-thin membrane also means it’s ultra-lightweight – an important feature when you want to move stealthily through the forest – and it means that you can stay warm without getting bulky with too many layers which might impair your range of motion.

The HEAT membranes work by you pushing a button which sends electric current through the wire to the thin heat conducting panels. In the vests and jacket, this then radiates heat under the insulated padding that reduces how much warmth escapes. With the base layer set, we recommend wearing a good mid-layer as insulation for the same effect.

The innovative technology also keeps an eye on the temperature so to ensure you don’t overheat, it’ll turnoff when it detects you’ve the desired temperature and turn back on when the temperature has dropped a couple of degrees. This also saves battery life meaning you can stay warm for longer.

We’ve tested the wires connecting the membrane panels are long enough to not put any limits on your range of motion, and each garment in the HEAT collection is designed to hunt and shoot with input from and fittings with seasoned hunters.

On the jacket and vests, you control it either by the button on your garment or via the iWarm4 app on your smartphone. Beware that the iWarm4 app does not work with the HEAT base layer. The temperature of the HEAT base layer can easily be set with the push button on the garments.

*For the Härkila HEAT products, we recommend that you use a power bank with a minimum of 10.000 mAh and a 2A output. That will give you approximately 7 hours of warmth and comfort at 0°C outside temperature.

When in use, this Härkila HEAT garment must be connected to a power bank. But it is important to note that power banks vary considerably. Some have on/off buttons, while others have power-saving functions. Such differences can affect how your product performs for you. Do not use two HEAT products on one power bank unless you use Härkila’s own power bank. Härkila’s own power bank is specially made to handle two HEAT products simultaneously. Other power banks may malfunction.
