Härkila Corporate Social Responsibility

On the hunt for a better future

A PHILOSOPHY THAT LAST

While the methods and styles of huntingResponsibility comes in many forms and shades, and as hunters at heart, we certainly understand this. While hunting methods and styles may vary, they share one crucial element: responsibility. At Härkila, we take this commitment to nature and wildlife seriously.

We recognize the significant impact the textile industry has on our climate, and as a leading brand in the hunting gear industry, we are not just obligated to do better – we want to make a meaningful difference. We take pride in standing at the forefront, making a daily effort to be a frontrunner in sustainability. Our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint is unwavering.

Driven by our dedication to nature, we continuously seek innovative practices and use durable, long-lasting materials to help lessen our impact.

LONGIVITY IS THE FINEST KIND OF QUALITY

We do not design clothes for a season. We create apparel that lasts a lifetime, or two, and can be passed down to the next generation of hunters. Our products are crafted for durability and built to withstand the test of time. From stitching to fit, every aspect is designed with longevity in mind, reducing waste and resource use. Reduce, reuse, and recycle is the only responsible approach, and we are continuously on the lookout for new materials and methods that will minimize our environmental impact.

PROTECTING WHAT WE LOVE FOR GENERATIONS

Härkila VETTED VINTAGE™ is our way of paying a little bit back to nature. A smart way to keep Härkila’s high-quality hunting apparel in circulation. Härkila products are second to none, designed to last - it’s always been like that - and our customers can now trade in their durable gear to us and earn credit toward their next purchase. Or they can choose from our curated selection of one-of-a-kind, pre-owned styles. Every VETTED VINTAGE item is professionally cleaned and comes with the same two-year warranty as our new Härkila products.

Our VETTED VINTAGE initiative champions the power of reuse, proving that the most effective way to be more sustainable is by extending the life of what we already have.

CARE AND CONSERVATION

We provide comprehensive care instructions and local repair services in select countries, emphasizing the importance of maintaining and repairing gear rather than discarding it. This approach not only extends the life of our products, but also minimizes the environmental impact.
