A Scandinavian

Härkila as a hunting brand was founded in 1985 in Västra Götaland in Southern Sweden. Härkila is now present in over 50 countries and is one of the World’s leading hunting clothes and equipment brands.

In the beginning, Härkila produced hunting clothes that were both silent and waterproof for moose hunting. Later, the company began producing hunting clothes for other types of hunting and soon expanded across Scandinavia and then the British Isles and mainland Europe.

Our misson. Härkila has always stood for quality, function and fit and over the years, our clothes and equipment have served both the quality-conscious hunter and the professional hunter alike in most types of terrain. We are specialists and do not compromise. Our ambition is to make the best hunting clothes, and we therefore choose the best materials, manufacturers and designers. When you have that ambition, you can not be the cheapest.

We want to be leaders in innovation, and this applies to materials, the way we design, technology, retailers and the consumer experience. We will work with the best dealers to ensure that our consumers receive the best possible advice and guidance when choosing their Härkila equipment. We will work with the best hunters in their field to ensure that our equipment is the best out there. We will work with leading research institutions and other knowledge-based companies to ensure that we utilize modern technology in an old-fashioned sport, and we will constantly push the boundaries to improve our products.

Our journey. Härkila is on an exciting journey in an industry which is largely tied to traditions. It is a balancing act of being innovative and at the same time respecting traditions. Härkila has a clear ambition to be the driving force in the industry and to improve the individual hunter's experience in the field, with or without firearms. We will constantly try to push the boundaries, with respect for traditions and diversity. Our goal is that hunters around the world should want to choose a Härkila product the next time they look for new equipment.
